I wrote a new song called “Out of Focus.” Whoops! Looks like I accidentally sang it in front of a camera, too! I guess I’ll put it on YouTube.

So, this recording is the first in a series of acoustic demos I’ll be doing. I’ve been hard at work on my next release and probably will be for a while (it takes a long time to autotune bagpipes), so this is a way for me to keep putting stuff out there in the meantime. These demos will be available for everybody to hear, but they’re also a part of my campaign on Patreon. If you haven’t heard of it yet, Patreon is a new artist platform that functions a lot like Kickstarter, except with a focus on a continuous output of work as opposed to one big project. Jack Conte explains in more detail (did I mention that Jack Conte created it?). Anyhow, I think it’s brilliant, and any support would be tremendously appreciated.
