A Work in Progress
I am Type A, and I grind my teeth in my sleep.
I went to Wal Mart last night. On my way to the arts and crafts section, I literally stopped in my tracks and just stared at this shirt for upwards of 45 silent seconds before I snapped out of my reverie and instead snapped a picture.
They all know that they’re telling us America died last month, right? That it had a good run of ten years, and now it’s over? Because, I mean, this over expression of intense patriotism really did start after 9/11.
It’s all just so… something.
The birth and death of modern patriotism. Poignant and trashy all at once. Walmart FTW!
